Woah.
Ok, so a lot has happened lately! Really awesome news, so let me just start from the very beginning hehe. So I discovered Zumba a long time ago and from what I can recall my very first class was at a resort in Austin, TX! Ever since then I fell in love with it! Dancing is my passion, so dancing and fitness put together is literally the most perfect thing ever!
I recently joined Lifetime, a gym by my house, and have been attending Zumba classes on the daily. Ever since I started going to Zumba classes, people would always tell me how good I was and I just knew that I had it in me, especially the fact that others are noticing. It was so much fun and I was so dedicated that one day I just told myself, "You know what, I'm going to be a Zumba Instructor!" I immediately signed up for Instructor Training which was on August 21, 2014 held at The Fairmont Dallas. This was the same day as my first day of school, but it was totally worth missing. I had a blast that day and met amazing people. I was even more inspired after that day and I am so grateful that I went. I received my Zumba Instructor License and was eager to start working!
Luckily, not even a week has gone by and I received a call from my boyfriend, who teaches Taekwondo at Min Hur's in Arlington, telling me that a woman is starting her own Zumba classes there. It was seriously a sign from God. I never thought Zumba of all things would be taught there and the timing could not have been any more perfect. Her name is Ebony, I called her up right away and right then and there she offered me to teach the Warm Up and Cool Down that same day because that was her first day of class. Of course I said yes and now I teach there every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM! I'm so thankful for such an amazing opportunity, especially the fact that it is the same place where my boyfriend teaches Taekwondo!
So not only that, but on September 5, 2014 I had a Zumba Instructor Audition for LA Fitness! I was super nervous, but OMG everything went smoothly and I was hired on the spot! The manager, Kelly, who judged my audition was super nice and she made me feel super happy! She noticed that I had a dance background and she was absolutely amazed by my performance. She told me that she has never seen anyone come in do as good as me! She even said that she herself could never do as good as me haha. She said that she would definitely expect 40-50 people in my classes because I had that much potential. She set up my class dates and I'm going to be teaching every Monday and Wednesday!
I'm so thankful for the doors the lord has opened up for me and for the many blessings he has lined up. I'm also blessed to have people who support me because it definitely keeps me going. Well, that's all I have to say for now! I will keep y'all updated!
 Zumba is life! :)
