I'm a Licensed Zumba Instructor

Woah.
Ok, so a lot has happened lately! Really awesome news, so let me just start from the very beginning hehe. So I discovered Zumba a long time ago and from what I can recall my very first class was at a resort in Austin, TX! Ever since then I fell in love with it! Dancing is my passion, so dancing and fitness put together is literally the most perfect thing ever!
I recently joined Lifetime, a gym by my house, and have been attending Zumba classes on the daily. Ever since I started going to Zumba classes, people would always tell me how good I was and I just knew that I had it in me, especially the fact that others are noticing. It was so much fun and I was so dedicated that one day I just told myself, "You know what, I'm going to be a Zumba Instructor!" I immediately signed up for Instructor Training which was on August 21, 2014 held at The Fairmont Dallas. This was the same day as my first day of school, but it was totally worth missing. I had a blast that day and met amazing people. I was even more inspired after that day and I am so grateful that I went. I received my Zumba Instructor License and was eager to start working!
Luckily, not even a week has gone by and I received a call from my boyfriend, who teaches Taekwondo at Min Hur's in Arlington, telling me that a woman is starting her own Zumba classes there. It was seriously a sign from God. I never thought Zumba of all things would be taught there and the timing could not have been any more perfect. Her name is Ebony, I called her up right away and right then and there she offered me to teach the Warm Up and Cool Down that same day because that was her first day of class. Of course I said yes and now I teach there every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM! I'm so thankful for such an amazing opportunity, especially the fact that it is the same place where my boyfriend teaches Taekwondo!
So not only that, but on September 5, 2014 I had a Zumba Instructor Audition for LA Fitness! I was super nervous, but OMG everything went smoothly and I was hired on the spot! The manager, Kelly, who judged my audition was super nice and she made me feel super happy! She noticed that I had a dance background and she was absolutely amazed by my performance. She told me that she has never seen anyone come in do as good as me! She even said that she herself could never do as good as me haha. She said that she would definitely expect 40-50 people in my classes because I had that much potential. She set up my class dates and I'm going to be teaching every Monday and Wednesday!
I'm so thankful for the doors the lord has opened up for me and for the many blessings he has lined up. I'm also blessed to have people who support me because it definitely keeps me going. Well, that's all I have to say for now! I will keep y'all updated!
 Zumba is life! :)

Finally 19!
So my babe planned a surprise for my 19th Birthday. I was really excited and finally that day has come! He showed up at my front door with a balloon that says "I love you" with a little note attached to it. We hopped into his car and then this boy decides to blind fold me lol! So here we are driving to who knows where and I can't see a thing! He finds a place to park and with my blind fold still on, he helps me out of the car. He tells me to remove my blind fold and lo and behold we are standing in front of his house! I'm just like "I knew it!" in a confused manner. He opens up his front door and wow was I impressed! A once familiar home transformed into a 5-Star Restaurant. As soon as I walk in, I hear romantic music playing in the background and a host ready to sit us at a table that babe had reserved for us. We are lead to a private room with a window seat. Everything was so legit, it really felt like I was dining at a restaurant! After fulfilling our appetite, we transitioned from slow dancing in the ballroom to going crazy like we were in a club. The night was full of laughter and good vibes. I had so much fun and I felt so special. One of the cutest things that has ever happened to me. I am truly blessed with the best.
I love you babe!

Donuts By The Pond

Dunkin' Donuts
Gateway Park
Quack Quack!
So my family and I randomly decided to indulge in some Dunkin' Donuts that just opened up around our area. Dunkin' Donuts reminds me of my childhood because back when I used to live in Chicago, my mom and dad used to take me here all the time. That is why it will always be my favorite donut joint!
What is your favorite donut shop? :)

30 Years From Now

5th Grade Letter
"From thirty years from now I will be a fabulous famous singer. I had sold a-lot of cds, and have created a album. The music I do is pop music and hip-hop music. Right now I'm in my early fortys. How I became a famous was that I won American Idol. It was fun to start with. It was a dream come true. I was very lucky, I never knew I could of made it that far. You don't know how many autographs I have to sign in one day. Well, that's my life!"

So yeah. As you can tell I had some really bad grammar and typo issues haha. This is word from word what I wrote in my Memory Book I made way back in the 5th Grade. I was 10 years old at the time and now I am 19. I cannot believe I wrote this 9 years ago! Time flies by so fast!
Finding this piece of treasure, laying around on my bookshelf, just sparked some happiness. It made me realize that the dream I had 9 years ago, still exists to this day. I want to become famous as a dancer, singer, and actress. A passion of mine that I hold so deeply in my heart, it will never fade.
I'm going to make this dream come true and nothing is going to stop me from doing what I love to do most.

19th Birthday Flowers
Hey there!
So I am so excited to start this blog! I've never done this before, and I felt like having a fresh start at something new. I give you the biggest welcome to anyone who is reading this, thank you for deciding to join me along my journey and I hope we can inspire each other and grow together! Since I am a beginner, here are just a few F.Y.I's! Yes, the pictures that are going to be on this blog will all be taken by me! Also, you may be wondering. What type of blog is this going to be about anyway? Well, I wanted this blog to be like a journal of my life, but instead of on paper on here! It will not only include my thoughts, but also pictures, videos and more. I'm excited to not only express my own thoughts and passions, but to also share it with others! I want to motivate and inspire myself and you guys! I know I can reach my dream and I know you can reach yours too. That's all I have to say for today.
I look forward to making more!
